How to post payment proof-safely!

So i am sure everyone is wondering how to give a admin payment proof for the forum while keeping your private information safe. So here are my steps on how to do so.

1. Start by bringing up the email that says you have been paid.

2. Scroll down in the email till at the top of the window it says Dear [your name here].
(Do not show your email address and then Dear [your name here]. Just show Dear [your name here] and show everything down from there. Trust me not showing your email will save you time in the long run an help you be more careful. 3. Click the print screen button on your keyboard. Now if your on a lab top you might have to hold ctrl and print screen at the same time. If you look at your keyboard it should tell you. What the print screen button does is make a copy of what is correctly open on your computer. So any important information up you should close (like bank information).

4. Open paint. To get to paint click on start, all programs, accessories, paint.

5. Once paint is open hold down the ctrl button and the letter v at the same time.

6. You should now have 2 copy's that look like the same window. 1. is the actual window (if you still have it open) and 2. the copy of the window you made should be in paint.

7.Now while in paint Click on the brush. If you don't know what the brush is highlight over all the pictures on the left side till you see the word brush come up.

8.At the bottom of the screen you will see colors, click on black.( This makes it harder for someone to see what you are covering up)

9.At the bottom of the left hand side below all the pictures in a rectangular box you will see circles that go from big to small (you will also see below the circles squares, / and \ in difference sizes as well). Click on the biggest circle. This controls how big your brush is (the bigger the easier).

10. Then take your mouse (or the arrow) and put at the beginning of your last name.

11.Once at the beginning of the last name with your left mouse button held down slowly slide the mouse to the right till your last name is covered up.(Make sure you are holding the left button on the mouse down as you slide at the same time or it will not work). When the last name is covered in black release the mouse button.

12. Repeat steps 9 and 10 on other parts of information you see. This is what i recommend you show and don't show

The following is what you need to show for sure:
1. your first name
2.[the persons name] just sent you money with paypal
3.amount[with the amount you earned]
4.Subject [with the subject]
5. Custom note [with the note]

What i recommend you cover up for sure

1. your last name
2. transaction id
3.paypal email id
4.an if you see your email and last name listed anywhere elsemake sure you cover that up as well.

besides that everything else is fine.

12.After you are done covering up everything you want to at the top click on file and then click save as.

13. In filename type in a file name you wanna give it.

14 click on the box next to save as type and it should show some options.

15. Click on option JPEG (you will see in () the word JPG repeated multiple times an with extra letters or written differently. It is not important. as long as the first one you see listed before the () says JPEG OR JPG you are fine)

16. Click on Save.

An that is it. Now all you gotta do is when you go to the forum an start a new thread there should be a button called attachment click on it, find the file we just did and choose it. Once you choose it, it should be added to your post and thats it! You have posted payment proof!!!
